(Jewellery, Brooches). Modern. Ladies. Finely crafted in platinum, this brooch is in the shape of a domed gazebo with two columns. The centre bears florals, foliage and three butterflies. Set with one hundred and thirty eight round, brilliant cut diamonds, measuring approximately 2.9mm to 1.5mm., weighing approximately total 4.00cts., by gauge of VS-SI clarity, G-H colour, medium cut. The gazebo features sixty seven square, baguette cut rubies, measuring approximately 2.1-2.0mm., weighing approximately 4.00cts., by gauge, and twenty square, baguette cut emeralds, measuring approximately 1.8-1.9mm., weighing approximately total 0.8ct., by gauge. The three butterflies are crafted in carved yellow sapphires, and each is inlaid with two round shaped, faceted rubies (1.5mm), measuring approximately 12.0-7.5mm.One flower is crafted in a custom cut, yellow sapphire, measuring approximately 6.8-5.3x0.3mm, weighing approximately 0.85ct., by gauge. The remaining three flowers are round, carved emeralds, measuring approximately 7.0mm. The reverse features a functional, diagonal pin with a round safety clasp. The 12 o’clock position of the reverse features a loop for suspension on a chain if wanted. Measuring 29.49mm (w) x 45.35mm (h) and weighing 19.7 grams. Missing two emeralds, but not overly noticeable. In overall extremely fine condition.
