Layaway Policy

eMedals INC. is pleased to offer flexible layaway services to all clients. Our layaway program offers the opportunity for clients to make payments on eligible items over a period of three (3) months.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the total price of your order including all applicable taxes and Buyer’s Premium, is due at the time of initial purchase. The total price of your order must be paid within three months from the date of original purchase.

You may make additional payments at any time by accessing the Layaway section in your account or by calling our office and submitting payment details.

Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to inventory if full payment is not submitted by the three (3) month deadline.

What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Switzerland. A Lot of Two Vintage Watches, c.1970

(Timepieces, Wristwatches). Vintage. Men’s. The first watch is a Gruen Geneve Men's Precision Power-Date watch. The watch case and band are in 10kt yellow gold fill. The silver dial features stick hour markers and a date wheel in the place of the 3 o’clock hour marker. Between the 9 and 12 o’clock markers the dial is marked “GRUEN”. The dial is marked above the 6 o’clock marker with “25 PRECISION POWER-DATE”. The hour and minute hands are partially painted with luminescent paint and the interior of the bezel is marked with stick markers and luminescent paint dot markers, allowing the wearer to tell the time in the dark. The exterior of the bezel is smooth. The case back is unmarked. The watch band is a multilink 10kt gold filled expansion band. The interior is marked “kreisler U.S.A. PAT. NO. 3140581 3344599 3158989”. The watch case measures 35.08mm (diameter) and weighs a total of 63.9 grams. Automatic, functional and in very fine condition.

(Timepieces, Wristwatches). Vintage. Men’s. The second watch is an Enicar Ocean Pearl Automatic Day Date watch. The dial is in a warm, slightly, metallic brown and bears stick hour markers. The dial is marked under the 12 o’clock position with the Enicar logo. From the 9 o’clock position to the 3 o’clock position is a strip with “ENICAR automatic” and two date wheels. The case is gold-plated and the caseback bears the image of a dolphin, water and the Enicar logo in the center, encompassed by the inscriptions “ENICAR OCean Pearl”, ‘AUTOMATIC INCABLOC WATERPROOF SWISS STAINLESS STEEL BACK”, and “147-01-02”. The lug bars and strap of the watch are missing, but can be easily replaced. Measuring 36.97mm (w) including crown and 39.51mm (l) and weighing 43.7 grams. Automatic, not currently functional and in fine condition.
