Germany, HJ. A Leather-Bound Folio from the Staff of Reichsjugendführer Baldur von Schirach
(HJ Folio). A rare and well-preserved folio belonging to a member of Reichsjugendführer Baldur von Schirach’s personal staff, constructed of a pressed dark brown leather outer shell, the cover bearing a finely-embossed German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia and stamped inscription of “MEINEM MITARBEITER” (“MY STAFF”), the interior of the cover featuring a large dark brown canvas pouch closing with a functional magnetic metal sliding lock, with four additional unspoiled off-white paper stock pages, measuring 270 mm (w) x 360 mm (h), with age-appropriate material fatigue evident to the leather along the spine and edges, in addition to minor discolouration of the interior pages, a rare memento of an HJ high official in very fine condition.
