(Khrueang Ratcha-itsariyaphon An Pen Thi Choetchu Ying Chang Phueak / เครื่องราชอิสริยาภรณ์อันเป็นที่เชิดชูยิ่งช้างเผือก). Instituted in 1861. Type III (1873-1941). A grand cross set, the badge in silver gilt with multi colour enamels, the obverse medallion features a white enamelled elephant, surrounded by orange, red and green enamel petals, the reverse features raised Thai characters, surmounted by a Thai crown, measures 47.5mm (w) x 95.4mm (h - inclusive of crown suspension), weighs 28.9 grams, attached to a full length sash badge, enamels intact, minimal gilt wear, in extremely fine condition.
Accompanied by the breast star in silver, the center medallion featuring a white enamelled elephant on a rich blue enamelled field with a Thai Crown and Thai characteristics, surrounded by multiple red enamelled rays, the reverse presents a thin single pin vertical suspension, to indecipherable marks on the pin and one on the catch, measure 69.3mm (w) x 69.4mm (h), weighs 64.5 grams, dark patina on the silver, enamels show minimal wear, center intact, in extremely fine condition.
