What's a max bid?

Spain, Kingdom. An Order of Civil Merit, Reduced Grand Cross Star, c.1930

(Orden del Mérito Civil). Instituted June 25 1926 by King Alfonso XII. (1926-1931 Issue). A lovely breast star (Lady's Grand Cross version) in silver gilt, featuring an eight point star, with overlaid blue enamel Anchor cross, a green laurel wreath between three of the arms and a red enamel royal crown at 12 o’clock, the obverse medallion features a female figure with a small red enamel flame, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed AL MERITO CIVIL (To Civil Merit), reverse presents a decorative vertical pin flanked by dual stays, 55.3mm (w) x 57.4mm (h), weighs 61.3 grams, unmarked, enamels intact, heavily gilded, in mint condition and rare.

Accompanied by a small boutonniere of silver gilt and enamels, presenting the same Anchor cross with wreath and surmounting crown, the reverse presents a ring with four perpendicular rods for wear through a buttonhole, measures 19.3mm (w) x 21mm (h), weighs 4.3 grams, enamels intact, in very fine condition.
