What's a max bid?

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Reichspost: Cockade with wreath; three gilt buttons with raised eagle; two grey and one black button; two cockades (small one for Baschlikmütze); gilt five-sided star; two gilt bus cyphers.

 

Police: Two gilt buttons; one silvered button with raised eagle; one gilt four-sided star; three black buttons with raised eagle; gilt eagle insignia; belt buckle (Feldbindenschloss) for correctional institution staff.

 

DRK: Three silvered buttons; two DRK cross insignia; gilt rosette star; silver Asclepian Rod; open-claw buckle; three pieces for shoulder strap fittings, including snap hook (Karabinerhaken), sliding buckle (Schiebeschnalle), and semi-circular ring; various equipment fittings.

 

Customs: Cockade; five gilt buttons; gilt shoulder board eagle, wreath, and pip insignia; gilt customs sailor (Zollschiffer) insignia; gilt customs machinist (Zollmaschinisten) insignia; four gilt buttons with raised eagle & anchor combination; gilt waist hook (Taillenhaken); black side hook (Seitenhaken).

 

Footnote: Meticulously stored in an archival environment for the past 50 years, this untouched and complete collection of Assmann manufactured insignia is new to the global market. Board mounted, each presented insignia was employed as a quality control sample at the Assmann factory during the war. Each tester board is complete and each individual insignia is numbered as per Assmann manufacturing codes. Comprised of over 150 individual pieces of mint insignia, all branches of the Wehrmacht are represented in this unique special collection.
