Sweden, Kingdom. A Red Cross Merit Medal For Voluntary Health Care for Men, II Class Silver Grade, c.1960
(Röda Korsets förtjänstmedalj för Frivillig sjukvård). Instituted in 1921. Gustaf VI Adolf (1950-1973). In silver, maker marked "MJV" (The Royal Mint), marked "SILVER" and dated "1968" on the edge, engraver's initials on the obverse, recipient's name "S-O. STENSSON" 1968" engraved on the reverse, measuring 31.2 mm (w) x 46 mm (h) inclusive of its crown and wreath suspension, contact marks evident on the reverse, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
