The Order of Builder of the Peoples Poland; Type II - Bronze gilt and enamels, fabricated by the National Mint in Warsaw, obverse centrepiece illustrating a worker holding holding a red flag in his right hand and a hammer in his left hand, surrounded by a flower motif of eight red and white enamelled bulbs with gold rays between each, reverse centrepiece marked "PRL", 48.8 mm x 52.6 mm, ornate ring suspension, original ribbon with dual prong pinback, intact enamels, extremely fine.Footnote: The order was established in 1949, as the highest Polish decoration that could be awarded to a Polish citizen and was designed by Professor Michal Bylina.
