Three Rare First War Campaign Medal Award Documents
Hans Wilhelm Outzen, 16 x 20.8 cm. Date of items: 1933. Condition: poor, strong signs of aging. Three award certificates for WWI veteran Hans Wilhelm Outzen in the Ers. Res. (Replacement Reserve) Hamburg-Fu. They are given out by the Honour League of Saxonian World War Participants Comradery League of German Eastern and Western Front Soldiers in Chemnitz. The documents carry an official seal and were all given out on Dec 5th, 1933. Outzen fought at the Somme, outside Verdun, and at the Eastern Front. He was awarded the Somme Cross with white and yellow ribbon, the Verdun Cross with black and white ribbon, and the Eastern Front Cross with black, yellow, and green ribbon. All three documents carry the facsimile of Bundespräsident W. Bräutigam.
