What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Two Victorian British Army Officers Photographs - Both are sepia-toned and mounted to cardboard, taken in a studio setting, matte finish; the first illustrates a seated officer with the "Jacques Moll CHATHAM" studio mark below on the obverse, reverse inscribed "Jacques Moll Photographer 35 High Street CHATHAM", "Copies can allways be had." and marked "E. KADERS, DRESDEN", 62 mm x 102 mm; the other illustrates a standing soldier with the "Adams of Stilliard" studio mark flanked by badges on either side on the obverse, reverse illustrating the same two badges, inscribed "PATRONIZED BY THE QUEEN / THE PRINCE & PRINCESS OF WALES" above and "ADAMS AND STILLARD ARTISTS IN PHOTOGRAPHY MINIATURE AND PORTRAIT PAINTERS / 32, HIGH STREET / SOUTHAMPTON" and "QUOTE THIS DATE WHEN ORDERING AFTER COPIES" below, the date in pencil to the left, 63 mm x 105 mm, light wear evident on the reverse on both, near extremely fine.
