What's a max bid?

United Kingdom. A Pair of British-Made Flying Goggles with Mask by Triple X

Great Britain; Teardrop-shaped goggles have an aluminum frame, each of the lenses in glass, stamped "MADE IN ENGLAND" along the top edge of the frame on both. The lenses are hinged in the middle, allowing for some adjustment to the face. The goggles are stitched in place to the butterscotch-coloured leather face mask, the face mask stamped in gold-coloured ink on either with a circle incorporating three X's, inscribed "TRIPLE X" above and "REGISTERED TRADE MARK" below. The reverse of the mask is finished in thin white chamois leather, the areas on the sides of the lenses lined in a beige rayon, the lenses trimmed in brown felt where they butt the face, allowing for a more comfortable fit. There is a 12 mm wide black elastic strap stitched in place at either end, the strap composed of three pieces that adjusts in two locations via two sliders. The mask measures 230 mm (w) x 110 mm (h), exhibiting multiple holes in the white chamois leather liner due to storage issues. The butterscotch-coloured leather of the mask itself and most of the brown felt cushioning the face intact, as is the elastic strap. In as-found condition.
