What's a max bid?

SMITH 92nd HIGHLANDERS); and Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (1941 Pte J. SMITH. GORD: HIGHrs). Naming is engraved in italic capitals on the AM and ALSGCM and impressed on the KKS. Edge wear and pitting on the AM and ALSGCM, contact marks on all three, replacement ribbons, near very fine. Accompanied by copies of his Attestation Paper and Service Records

 

Footnote: John Smith was born in 1841 in St. Andrews, Dundee, Forfar, Scotland, stating his occupation as that of Labourer. He enlisted as a Private (1941) on February 11, 1860, signing his Attestation Paper on the 12th. He arrived in Kandahar with the 92nd (Gordon Highlanders) Regiment of Foot on August 31, 1880. Private John Smith was discharged on January 11, 1889, credited with having served almost 29 years in the Army.
