What's a max bid?

Sword with a steel blade incorporating a rich silvered finish, magnetic, with a dull tip, the fuller running almost three-quarters the length of the sword on both sides, flat spine, obverse engraved with the monogram of Queen Victoria surmounted by the royal crown, with an artillery cannon below the monogram, all of which is framed by ornate leafing, the ricasso engraved with the initials "W H S", reverse engraved with the monogram of Queen Victoria surmounted by the royal crown, with crossed laurel and palm branches forming a wreath below the monogram, all of which is framed by ornate leafing, the ricasso name engraved "Herb Stanley" in running script above the maker mark "WILKINSON / PALL MALL", the blade free of scratches and measuring 810 mm in length, light brown leather washer at the base of the blade, the handle and crossguard in silvered steel, the grip in a white synthetic pebbled material and wrapped in seven rows of rolled copper wire, the grip and copper wire exhibiting wear from active use, the spine on the grip bearing a cross-hatched pattern, the pommel finished with a large ball, the sword measuring 953 mm in length. The accompanying scabbard with its body in silvered metal, magnetic, with a non-magnetic metal throat secured in place via two screws, both bands on the body of the scabbard with a suspension ring affixed, the chape incorporating a wide and flat tip fixture, engraved with his name "Herb Stanley" and his initials "W H S" on opposite sides of the fixture, the scabbard free of dents, exhibiting scattered pitting and measuring 860 mm in length. Very fine.
