An Afghanistan Medal with KANDAHAR clasp, in silver, rim engraved “Private Mohomed Khan 26^th Regt Bo. N. I”, slack suspension, worn on replacement ribbon, small knocks to edges, nice patina, very fine condition.

Footnote: The Afghanistan Medal was established on March 19, 1881. The Medal was awarded to Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, and other ranks of the British and Indian Armies in recognition of service in Second Afghan War from 1878-1860.
