An English shako constructed of molded Vulkanfiber body with a dark navy fabric covering to the exterior, the front features a metal badge depicting the Nottingham coat of arms, which includes a rough, wooden cross rising out of the base of the shield between two open crowns with a similar crown around the lower limb of the cross, surrounded by two laurel branches and the motto “VIVIT POST FUNERA VIRTUS” (Virtue Outlives Death), the interior is constructed of a green plastic, a tan leather sweatband circles the interior, marked in pen with “737” and “1930 SHAKO P. NO. 11,” measuring 187 mm (w) x 286 mm (h), shows some moth eaten holes on crown, and in overall good condition.
