1. Naval Swords - British and American Naval Edged Weapons 1660-1815. Hardcover, maroon cloth cover, with dust jacket, entitled "Naval Swords - British and American Naval Edged Weapons 1660-1815" by P.G.W. Annis, published in the U.S.A. by Stackpole Books of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1970, printed in Great Britain, copyrighted by the author, P.G.W. Annis and Lionel Leventhal Limited in 1970, Library of Congress Catalog No. 75-114732, SBN 8117-1104-8. It begins with a Table of Contents, followed by an Introduction and a Section entitled Naval Swords (General History 1600-1815, Sword-knots, Nomenclature). The bulk of the book is devoted to detailed descriptions of various swords and sheaths, accompanied by multiple black and white photographs. It concludes with a Select Bibliography, Principal Collections and The Wearing of Swords. The book contains 80 pages of text and photographs, printed in black ink, on a white paper stock, measuring 142 mm (w) x 220 mm (h) x 12 mm (d).

3. Scottish Swords and Dirks - An Illustrated Reference Guide to Scottish Edged Weapons. It begins with a Table of Contents, followed by Acknowledgements and an Introduction. It is divided into four basic sections: 1 - Cross-Hilt Swords (Single-hand swords, The claymore, 'Lowland' swords); 2 - Basket-Hilt Swords (Signed basket-hilts, The parts of a basket-hilt sword); 3 - Dirks (The development, Full development, The degeneration); 4 - Miscellaneous Edged Weapons. The bulk of the book is devoted to detailed descriptions of various swords and dirks, accompanied by multiple black and white photographs. It concludes with a List of Makers and their Marks. The book contains 80 pages of text and photographs, printed in black ink, on a white paper stock, measuring 142 mm (w) x 220 mm (h) x 12 mm (d).

Two of the books exhibit foxing on the top of the pages, while all three dust jackets have wear and discolouration evident, however, the pages contained within remain unaffected. Very fine.
