First World War Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, rim impressed 104785 PTE. J.L. MAY. R.A.M.C, worn on original ribbon, very light surface wear, in extremely fine condition. Contained in their original private frame, the medals are separated by a postcard image of Albert (Somme) The Entrance to Peronne Street, stapled in each corner to the felt backing. Both ribbons are sewn to the felt backing. The frame presents a green velvet backing with wood exterior frame and glass top, measures 330mm (w) x 140mm (h) x 25mm (d), base attached with tape (can be easily taken apart), visible wear, fine condition.
