GVI Chief Petty Officer's Cap Badge (in silvered and gold-coloured bullion or copper wire, in various textures, maroon felt in the void of the King's crown, touches of red, green and blue embroidery in the base of the crown, with black threading giving definition to the top of the crown and its base, silvered bronze fouled anchor, padded, black cotton mesh back with underlying support bar, measuring 46 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), silvering wear evident on the anchor, the black cotton mesh backer peeling away from the body of the badge behind the right side of the crown); and QEII Petty Officer's Cap Badge (in silvered and gold-coloured bullion wire, in various textures, maroon felt in the void of the Queen's crown, touches of red, green and blue embroidery in the base of the crown, with black threading giving definition to the base, silvered bronze fouled anchor on a black felt circular field and surrounded by two rows of rolled bullion wire, padded, black cotton mesh backer, measuring 60 mm (w) x 87 mm (h)). Both without interruptions in the wire, better than very fine and extremely fine, respectively.
