What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

In 14K Gold with blue enamels, weighing 17.1 grams, engraved in running script "John Montour Chaplin." on the reverse of the badge, maker marked "BAILEY, BANKS & BIDDLE PHILA." and number engraved "2995" on the reverse of the eagle suspension, measuring 30 mm (w) x 44.8 mm (h), intact enamels, original ribbon, extremely fine.
