Court-mounted, original ribbons, extremely fine. Accompanied by three ribbon bars (Purple Heart, measuring 35.5 mm (w) x 10.3 mm (h); European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze stars and Army Good Conduct Medal, measuring 72 mm (w) x 10.5 mm (h); World War II Victory Medal, measuring 36.7 mm (w) x 10 mm (h)); his Purple Heart Extract (typewritten, dated July 29, 1944, inscribed "6. Footnote: John B. Perkins was born in Canada in 1917. He enlisted as a Private (32489576) with the United States Army on August 22, 1942 in Utica, New York.
