WARREN" on the reverse, 34.8 mm (w) x 43.3 mm (h), original ribbon with brooch pinback), intact enamels, extremely fine. Accompanied by a 33.5 mm (w) x 11 mm (h) Victory Medal ribbon bar with three bronze stars, pinned to a 55 mm, 35th Infantry Regiment sleeve badge in navy blue and light green embroidery on a khaki wool base, also extremely fine. Footnote: Private James G. Warren, 137th Infantry Regiment, 35th Division, American Expeditionary Force was Wounded in Action on September 29, 1918 in the Meuse-Argonne area.
