What's a max bid?

United States; Silvered brass, likely manufactured in North Africa, illustrating a map of the world, marked with the air routes taken by the Air Transport Command (ATC) between various points around the world, the continents, countries, cities and oceans clearly marked, bands around the top and bottom edges inscribed with pairings of cities and marked with the distances between the locations in miles, the Air Transport Command insignia appearing within the Indian Ocean region, inscribed "A.T.C. ROUTES / WORLD WAR II" to either side of the insignia, an ATC airplane appearing just south of Greenland, with the inscription "BRASS USED FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF THIS TANKARD WAS SALVAGED FROM THE BATTLEFIELDS OF WORLD WAR II" placed within an ornate frame and placed in the South Pacific region, measuring 75 mm wide at the mouth x 91 mm at the base x 123 mm in height, discolouration evident on the interior, light contact on the exterior, near extremely fine.
