What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

In die-stamped white metal, the centrepiece in a gold-coloured gilt along with red and light blue paint, illustrating the flag of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam (Vietcong) and inscribed "CHIÊŃ SĨ GIA’I PHÓNG" (Soldier of the People’s Army) on the ribbon banner below, measuring 42.5 mm (w) X 40 mm (h), chipping evident in the light blue paint on the flag, original first class ribbon with pinback, the stitching holding the pinback in place having come loose, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The Medal of the Liberation Soldier was instituted in three classes on July 6, 1966, to be awarded to soldiers of the Vietcong fighting in South Vietnam.
