Wurttemberg, Kingdom. An Order of the Wurttemberg Crown, Miniature, c. 1900
Instituted September 23, 1818 by King Wilhelm I. In silver gilt, a white enamel Maltese Cross, the obverse medallion presents a crowned F on a white enamelled field, surrounded by a red enamel ring inscribed furchtlos und trew (Fearless and Faithful), the reverse medallion presents a crown on a white enamel field surrounded by a red enamel surround inscribed furchtlos und trew, measures 15.62mm (w) x 16.98mm (h – inclusive of integral ring), weighs 1.7 grams, enamels intact, wear to inscription on obverse, near very fine condition.
