What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, London) on the reverse, 37.2 mm x 42 mm, surface rust on the reverse, extremely fine.Footnote: In the latter part of 1916, it was agreed that Canada would furnish five battalions of construction workers to be known as the Canadian Railway Troops. In March 1917, it was decided to increase this number to ten battalions. By June, all the battalions were at work in France. The 3rd Labour Battalion was re-designated as the 5th Battalion, Canadian Railway Troops, on June 15, 1917. It was disbanded on November 1, 1920.
