Naming is officially impressed. Court mounted, cleaned, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: 19913 Private Edward South, was born in 1880, the son of Mrs. Eliza J. South of Buckland, Buntingford, Herts. He was Killed in Action during the conflict in the Ypres Salient, on July 11, 1915, at the age of 35 and is remembered with honour on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 31 and 33.
