What's a max bid?

WWII RCAF 417th Squadron Spitfire Pilot's Album - Hardcover photo album with a pebbled exterior and two screw binding, containing forty-nine black and white photographs; RCAF Avron Anson Postcard; RCAF Ribbon with Red Tag; ten Aircraft Spotter Series Sweet Caporal Cigarette Cards; Photos of the invasion beaches in Italy; Calendar 1943 (inscribed in pencil "417th SQUADRON"); Special Scheme of Insurance Against Accidents for Officers of the Army and Royal Air Force Pamphlet; and four Bills (British Military Authority One Shilling, Allied Military Currency Italy Five Lire, Italian Five Lire, Algerian Five Francs). Extremely fine. Footnote: 417 Squadron was a Royal Canadian Air Force squadron formed in England on November 27, 1941 at RAF Charmy Down and was known as the "City of Windsor" squadron. It was equipped with the Hurricane and later, the Spitfire. It was initially deployed in Egypt and followed the allied advance through the western desert. With the defeat of axis forces in North Africa, the squadron followed the advance through Italy. It disbanded in Italy on July 1, 1945.
